Asset tagging prices are quoted per asset almost everywhere, which conveniently hides the fact that four separate things are being priced at once. We publish our pricing because you should not have to sit through a sales call to find out whether we fit your budget. Everything below is real and current.
Asset tagging and register development
Priced per tag, scaling with volume. Every tier includes design and printing to your numbering convention. The larger tiers add on-site work.

Anodised aluminium tags carry a premium over polyester and vinyl because of the material and etching process. Tell us the environment and we will quote the right specification rather than the cheapest one.

What actually drives asset tagging prices
Four things move a quote up or down, and none of them are hidden:
- Volume. Design and setup cost the same whether you order fifty tags or five thousand, so the per-tag price falls sharply with quantity.
- Material. Anodised aluminium costs more than polyester, and it should, because it survives conditions polyester will not.
- On-site work. Supplying tags is one thing. Sending a team to verify, tag and capture data on every asset is another, and it is where most of the real value sits.
- Location and sites. A single office in Nairobi is straightforward. Eight branches across four counties involves travel and time.
If a quote comes in far below these ranges, ask specifically whether pre-tagging verification is included. It is the step most often quietly dropped, and skipping it produces a register that looks complete but is not accurate, which defeats the purpose of the exercise.

When you compare asset tagging prices between suppliers, put each quote next to the tag specification it assumes. A lower number against a thinner tag on a shorter warranty is not a cheaper project, it is a shorter one, and the second round costs more than the difference you saved.
